MEA weekend is coming up in New Ulm! Make the most of this long weekend with these seasonal, local activities that the whole family will love!
Take in the Colors
MEA weekend luckily falls in late October which is typically peak-season for Fall colors in Southern Minnesota (check out the DNR’s Fall Color Finder for color updates). Our favorite way to take in the Fall colors is on a nature hike. Check out the list of the Prettiest Places to Hike in MN Fall from Explore Minnesota to plan a day trip or weekend of camping up North. If you want to take in the colors while staying local, Flandrau State Park is an excellent choice!
Keep it Spooky
‘Tis the season for all things scary and spooky! The New Ulm community has a lot of Halloween inspired events going on over MEA that your kids will surely enjoy.
